DEEPPAVLOV COMMUNITY CALL

This month we will hold a webinar in Russian with a special guest Boris Galitsky, an associate fellow at the HSE Laboratory of Intelligent Systems and Structural Analysis, founder of several AI startups, professor at ANECA, as well as a former Oracle employee.

Making a dialogue with a chatbot logical and interesting is the most important task of the Conversational AI field. A variety of approaches are used for this, and one of them is a discursive analysis of the text. The main idea is for the chatbot to help the user focus only on one sentence from the whole text. In the discursive tree, the text is divided into parts connected by logical relationships, and the chatbot directs the user along them, developing a dialogue. For example, it can be a temporal relationship, when the user is probably interested in what will happen after the described event or what happened before it.

At our webinar, Boris Galitsky will talk in detail about the way to control the course of a dialogue in a chatbot based on discursive text analysis.
