Higher Grounds: Psychedelic Gamification for Training

Psychedelic psychotherapy research has opened an entirely new view of not only psychology but also of education. The manipulation of neurochemical and psychodynamic pathways during training is now possible using specific techniques pioneered at Johns Hopkins University. Our presentation is on the use of metanarrative (extended artistic and archetypal design) in training. Our games Carthage, Hypatia, Possibilities and others transport learners into ancient worlds to provoke an entire shift in perspective. You will leave this session knowing more about how to activate critical neural pathways such as those associated with 5HTA-2 receptors, the ventral striatum, the default mode network and other regions of the brain.
