We will meet every other week for a total of 6 weeks to discuss the book The God Who Sees by Karen Gonzalez. This is a moving book written by a Guatemalan immigrant who weaves together her and her family’s stories, Biblical stories of migration, and experiences and information on immigration issues based on her work with World Relief. This is an excellent book for those who want to gain a better understanding of (im)migration in connection to Scripture, and who want to find ways to address this issue within their congregations.
